Has your home had water damage that you know of?

Has your home ever had water damage when you filed a claim and your insurance company and they said  that they would send out one of there people?
Their approved list? Who approved them? You or the insurance company? Of course you did not approve them so why is the insurance company sending out a water damage company that is on their list?  Unless, you asked for someone the insurance company referred! Did you know that you can use who, you, want to use unless, your home owners insurance policy states some thing differently!

It is very important that after you have a water damage job that you check the air by having a mold sampling done via air and have it sent off to a lab for the testing and results.  Have an inspector check the water damage work with moisture level reading with penetrating and non penetrating moisture level readings who ever you use for your water damage job and make sure the job has been performed properly as well as make sure the job is dry or else you will have mold issues and if you have mold issues, you will incur more costs if the job is not dried out properly and the moisture is not removed from the building properly with fans and air movers/fans.  Also, get an infrared scan also known as a thermal scan to your walls and ceilings of your home.
